Cabin Information

If you are interested in a cabin rather than a  Hotel...there are quite a few options for Cabins. The site for cabin choices is Brown County Log Cabins.
They are nice cabins and come with everything that you will need. Most of them have hot tubs and some have fishing ponds on the property. They are in close proximity to the State Park.
**With the cabins, you have a minimum two night--stay one night reservations are not available.
***Online reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance, although I would suggest making
them as soon as you know that you may want a cabin.
**** Most rates are based on double occupancy per night. Additional guest charges will apply per
         person per night.

This list of cabins are Dog friendly.  There is a $30.00 pet fee at the cabins. When you click on the cabin name, there will be links to see the inside cabin pictures. The ones that are dog friendly have a + sign after the name of the cabin. You can chose one that will fit your style.

Here is the list for the Cabin rates. Just find the name of your cabin and you will see the prices. These are prices per night. If you decide on a cabin...you will responsible for checking the availability and making your own reservation.

Having a Buddy: If you choose the cabin or hotel...there is a opportunity of having a buddy to stay with and it would help cut the cost in half....and have fun being with a friend and the dogs could enjoy their new friend also. If you want to buddy up...just leave a comment that you are interested and we will keep a list and get you a buddy. If you know someone that you would like to buddy up with...you can work that out with your friend. Oreo and I would like to buddy up...it just makes it more fun.

We are very excited about the Blogville Awesome Retreat. Since this is a once in a lifetime opportunity....we hope that you will be able to join us. We will have lots of activities and you WILL have a great time.

  1. Aww, we were liking the cabin option, but their pet policy says that only ONE dog at a time is allowed. :(

I don't mind buddying up for something like this - and certainly it would help with the $$$ - I don't mind hotel or cabin. At this stage I have no idea how I am going to get there either... have yet to check out hire car rates and even decide whether that is something I would want to do... anyhoo, the travel part is almost secondary, as accoms are the thing to firm up (had been checking at Brown's Park itself and the cheaper cabins were already booked out for those dates!!!)
